Key Changes Announced by Avaya

  • From June 30, 2025, Avaya AXP customers will be required to commit to a minimum of 200 agent licenses. Those who fail to meet this threshold will be forced to terminate their subscription.
  • From April 28, 2025, Avaya will end the sale and discontinue support for its SIP Trunking cloud service.
  • From April 28, 2025, Avaya Communications APIs (CPaaS) cloud service will be discontinued.
  • Closure of Avaya’s Middle East office will take effect on March 7, 2025, with further global office closures already in motion.
  • Continued layoffs and downsizing across Europe and the Middle East to align with Avaya’s G1500 deployments.
